Last updated: April 12, 2026
Sleepwise.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Sleepwise.ai platform and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, add accommodations, make or manage bookings, join the waiting list, or contact support. This may include:
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and organisation details.
- Accommodation and property data: property names, addresses, descriptions, photos, and business details you add to the platform.
- Booking and guest data: booking details, guest names and contact information, and related communications.
- Payment data: billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive and may store limited payment-related identifiers and billing history from Stripe.
- Waiting list / marketing: if you sign up for our waiting list or similar, we collect your email (and optionally name) and may use a service such as HubSpot to manage contacts and send updates.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Sleepwise.ai platform and your account.
- Process bookings, manage availability and pricing, and communicate with you and your guests as needed.
- Process subscription and billing via Stripe.
- Send you service-related messages, trial and subscription notifications, and (with your consent or where permitted) product updates or marketing.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and those of our users.
3. Legal basis (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data on the basis of: performance of our contract with you; your consent (e.g. waiting list, marketing); our legitimate interests (e.g. security, analytics, improving our services); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), hosting and infrastructure providers, email and notification services, and (if applicable) tools like HubSpot for contact management. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by appropriate agreements.
- Guests and third parties: where necessary to fulfil a booking or your instructions (e.g. guest details for a reservation).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data subject to applicable retention requirements.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these rights through your account settings or by contacting us. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and keep it confidential.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. Where we transfer data from the EEA or UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) are in place.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and indicate the last updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
